Each of the 4 office locations which the Don Fishing Company operate in are very diverse in nature with each offering different service provisions.
Kinlochbervie has continued to be an important base for the Don Fishing Company over recent years due to its strategic location to the North Atlantic fishing grounds. It remains one of Scotland’s major fishing ports with demersal sales of up to £11 million per annum.
Kinlochbervie itself, is a small village set in the rugged Sutherland landscape where fishing and crofting remain an important part of life. The Don is the largest employer in the village, employing 11 people out of Kinlochbervie’s 256 population.
Kinlochbervie is very different to that of Peterhead, where due to its remote location, the Don offers more of a service provision to support the needs of its agency and home vessels.
More information on the services provided from the Kinlochbervie hub are listed below.
